Somewhere not on the list?
Regions without their own pack, such as Central America, mainland tropical Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Western Australia, are covered by the worldwide model, which intersects with 10,248 bird species and is part of World Pass. Coverage is thinner where fewer recordings exist, and BirdHere may return no bird.
Honest limits
A pack lists the sounds a model was trained to recognise in that region; it does not guarantee every species or every call. Recognition also depends on distance, noise and season.
